It was summer 2006. I started walking, started wearing a pedometer ... and I lost 50 pounds, getting down to my target weight. Keeping it off has been a bit of a struggle, why does the "lost" weight want to be found again??? I've tracked my steps/exercise daily since I started, and found Walker Tracker in Dec 2008. I turned the big 40 in 2010, I'm a SAHM (5 boys) and consider exercise my part time job. I try to get a decent workout in before the kids wake, then do several mini (10-20 minutes) sessions throughout the day.
I am totally spoiled with a complete home gym downstairs with an elliptical, treadmill, bike and weights. In 2014 I discovered Zumba, and I love it (which completely surprised me, as I can NOT dance). I'm a Fitbit fan, and now my entire family (immediate and extended) have Fitbits too :)
